The power of an entropic mind | The balance between chaos and structure
As an ‘entropic mind’, I balance between order and chaos, between structure and unpredictability. This habit is based on the idea that a deeper truth or new forms of art emerge from disorder, from apparent chaos.
Applied to the artistic process, it can be understood as a state in which thoughts flow freely without being restricted by rules or conventions. This state of mental openness invites new ideas to be explored, old patterns to be broken and the unexpected to be welcomed.
It is an individual tool. In an entropic state, thoughts are constantly in motion, networking in unexpected ways and thus creating space for innovation, playgrounds and possibilities.
In practice, this can lean on consciously working with materials, techniques or concepts that are beyond my control. I allow and give myself the chance to act as a kind of co-creator by placing processes in motion whose results are not always predictable for me – just making this dynamic fruitful.
I take myself as a wanderer between chaos and order, an explorer of possibilities, hidden in the seemingly random. My work thus becomes an expression of a dynamic in which nothing is rigid, but everything remains in flux.
This approach requires courage because it forces you to let go of control and venture into uncertain areas. And this is where the true power lies: the willingness to let yourself be guided and thereby open up to the basic trust.
So i describe myself as an explorer, discoverer and finder who is deeply rooted in multidisciplinary art. I have been deep in creativity expression from my early days and so this passion accompanied me my entire life.
it is an indescribably exciting and educational journey, and I love exploring new territories and pushing the boundaries of what is possible – day by day. There is so much deep insight and joy to be found
The creative process is usually more important than the final product. I love experimenting with different techniques, materials, styles, sujets and am constantly looking for new ways to express myself. It’s a reflection of my personal journey that reconnects me to the world on a deep, emotional and spiritual level.
It’s about the process, dealing with coincidences and serendipity. Navigating between possibilities and intuition.
My passion for art is contagious at times, and I love sharing and working with others.
